This Ceiling Fan / Light pull chain, ball chain, pull string knob, handle, finial, fob is engineered for use with standard #6 (3.2mm) ball chain and will also work effectively with smaller chain as long as a #6 metal connector is utilized. THESE SHOULD PRINT WITHOUT SUPPORTS WITH MINIMAL DEFECTS. To assemble the pull chain, simply feed the chain through the top of the print and attach a standard #6 connector to it. If using a ball chain and metal connector, you can form a loop around a keyring and hook with the other end of the connector. If a metal connector is not available, you can print the BALL-CONNECTOR.stl file that I have included. NOTE: if you print the connector in PLA, it's a tight fit. Lay the chain on a hard surface, position the connector over the last ball of the chain and push down until it snaps into place. You may also use string with a large knot tied in the end. I usually print things at 10% infill - HOWEVER, if used on a ceiling fan, you may want to use a higher infill for more weight.
