Twisty Pug Wing Spring

Twisty Pug Wing Spring

thingiverse

This is designed to stop the wings falling off of the Angelwings Designs Twisty Pug RC glider. My servo linkages aren't great and i don't trust them to keep the wings attached to the fuselage anymore. Printed in TPU to act as a spring, but PLA might also work. It should attached above the carbon spar with a piece of tape at each end, ideally Blenderm tape. Mark where the ends come to without any stretch, then tape it down with 1-2mm of stretch in it. Too much stretch and you won't get accurate servo centering, but 2 different centre positions. Don't stretch it if it's made from PLA, use paper as a temporary shim to make sure there's a gap between each wing and the fuselage sides. 0.4mm nozzle, 0.1mm layer height, (0.12mm for Ender 3) 100% concentric infill, first layer pattern: concentric, Align the flat face to the build plate, trim blobs off after with flush cutters.
