These ornate bands are reminiscent of those created by bonding the two extremities of a strip of paper together. When merely fastened, one forms a torus; however, twisting the strip 180 degrees produces a Moebius strip, a notable phenomenon. Continuing to twist the strip generates additional ornamentation on the band. As more twists are applied, individual prisms composing the strip become perceptible. The required code to fabricate these bands consists of merely a few lines written in OpenSCAD programming language. Instructions for Fabrication To produce these unique bands using my Replicator, I have successfully printed 8_twist_bracelet.stl, 16_twist_bracelet.stl, and 50_twist_bracelet.stl, all with raft support.
