Twister Vase

A vase that looks (to me, at least) a little like a tornado; hence the name. This is a sister model of my Coiled Vase, using the same maths base. The double twister is simply the single version but with twice the twists and height.. These are intended for printing in vase mode; the thicker the nozzle, the better. - In my photos everything is printed with a 0.8mm nozzle - Sorry for the size of the STL files, it's needed to avoid surface facets when scaling up. The shape is purely mathematical, generated by a deceptively simple piece of SCAD code, creating intersecting and overlapping rings rising and spiralling out from a central axis. I designed these on a whim; but was really pleased with the results. For reference the simple twister model took 2.5 hours to render on my CoreI7 system, and at one point had 6Gb+ of ram reserved.
