This design of the lamp shade is centered around a "classic" vase shape and features some intricate thread decor in addition. The socket opening measures 44mm in diameter. Due to the threads' steep overhangs, I increased the extrusion width to 150% nozzle diameter, which yielded impressive results. As a result of the steep angles, repeating little gaps form between layers, creating a unique net/grid effect that also increases the amount of light escaping from the lampshade.
