Twisted Torus (soluble supports torture test)
thingiverse
A rigorous test for printing with soluble supports is demonstrated in this torus design. Despite its hollow interior, the small holes on the surface pose a challenge for support dissolution. This unique geometry was crafted to assess PVA's effectiveness in dissolving complex cavities. The print shown in the image utilizes PrimaSelect PVA+, which generally dissolves well but leaves behind fine strings within the geometry and especially around the tiny holes.
