I've been toying around with the idea of creating 8" statuettes of chess pieces for decorative purposes instead of actual playable chess pieces - though there's no reason it couldn't be used as such. I had originally envisioned this piece being made of 2 very different materials and textures to create contrast. This is why the model is designed to be printed in sections and assembled after post-printing processes. Here's my first every upload, be kind.
