Twisted hexagon
thingiverse
A twisted hexagon . To get a vase version, set the infill and top layers to 0, and set number of perimeters and bottom layers to a suitable wall thickness. The finished vases are nice for storing nuts and screws for your printer :-) The OpenSCAD model is very easy to edit, to change the hight, twist, scale or using it as part of something else. The STL file is generated with 400 layers of points (thus the name), which should be more precise than any home 3D-printers can print as off now, if you still want more resolution, it is very easy to change that in the OpenSCAD file. I used the following site to quickly generate the coordinates for the hexagon, if you want a different polygon, check it out: http://www.mathopenref.com/coordpolycalc.html
