Update: The gear position error is located within the original file. Each leaf's gear must occupy a unique rotational position, corresponding to the thread height in the drive ring, but they appear identical in their positioning. I'm contacting the source file owner for possible comments. I've discovered a critical mistake in the gear positions; please refrain from utilizing the current STL. A corrected file will be uploaded shortly, and if you attempted to print the previous one, my apologies as most likely some gears would have interfered with the threads of the drive ring. A revised version of the petal box has been created, incorporating adjusted tolerances to enhance the likelihood of a successful print. The gear-section of the petals has been thinned out, additional strengthener added where the petals experience severe overhangs, and the bottom edge of the rotating collar has been scalloped for easier release. I still intend to modify the design, allowing the rotating collar to be printed separately. This would enable us to thread the drive ring before assembly, making it significantly simpler to eliminate blobs or stringing. I welcome any suggestions on how to achieve this; perhaps a C-ring retainer could be added to hold the collar in place.
