Twist Connector for DN50 Hose
thingiverse
I am using DN50 hoses/pipes in my workshop to get dust from one point to another. After going through a number of systems, I designed this bayonet-style connector. The goal was to make something that I could easily connect and disconnect, preferrably with one hand if one of the two parts was held in place somehow. Thus far it works! Important: To save on filament, I designed these for a piece of DN50 plastic pipe to be glued into them, either as a connector to that pipe or as a piece to attach a hose to. I had enough pupe laying around for that, but it also makes that end of the connector a lot more sturdy compared to a 3d printed pipe piece.
