Press Like for encouragement. Comment for improvement.Twist axis for Thrustmaster Cougar/Warthog and Virpil sticks. This model has been designed on request. I did not print it myself nor tested it. You'll need:a rotary potentiometer “RK097N”. Resistance doesn't matter, because of the calibration later.2x 6mm x 20mm (or longer) compression spring.20x 4mm (diameter) bearing balls. (I got mine out of a bike).Place the upper part on the lower part so that the channel is aligned with the hole in the bearing race. (→ see first picture, ball bearing in red)Insert the bearing balls into the channel.Center the upper and lower partsAdd the gearInsert the potentiometer and glue or bolt it, if needed. Disclaimer:Plastic isn't as resilient as the metal of the grip.Consider resin. If it's not an option, don't be cheap on the plastic. Use PLA or stronger, go 100% infill and print with an angle (potential crack to filament layer). Adapt the joystick response curves so you don't yank your stick like a mad man. Then it'll be fine.
