On Parametric-art.com, you can view a lampshade designed by bonooobong featuring an attractor-driven larger opening. The lampshade was modeled in 3D using Grasshopper and printed on a MakerBot Replicator2 with medium resolution (0.27 mm) and default settings, without raft or supports. It includes a built-in layer for better cohesion during printing. The translucent PLA design works well on FDM printers using PLA/ABS filament.
