The mounting point is crafted for a standard snap-locking DVD motor, designed without bottom slots to allow light through and viewed on our innovative Hex Strobe Docks and Wooden Strobe Docks. It was then printed in natural clear PLA to diffuse light from within the plastic. If designing your own motorized strobe dock, you can also print it in colored plastic and bathe it under white or colorful strobe lights from above. Our strobe docks are available on our website at https://www.novatropes.com. This model shines best in overhead-lit configurations as light doesn't penetrate the bottom plate nicely when lit from beneath. Note: Mounting snap-hole dimensions are extremely precise. Print with a .4mm nozzle using PLA only and make sure to print with a raft, as even slight bed leveling imperfections will result in the statue wobbling during operation and creating unpleasant visual noise.
