Unlike other designs, this one boasts no bottom slots to allow light to shine through from within. However, it can still be paired with our innovative Hex Strobe Docks and Wooden Strobe Docks (now live on Kickstarter). It was crafted in transparent Natural clear PLA to diffuse light through the plastic, creating a breathtaking effect. If you're building your own motorized strobe base, consider printing it in colored plastic and illuminating it with white or colored strobe lights from above - it's truly magical! Our Internally lit Strobe Docks are also available for purchase on our website at Novatropes.com. This model is best suited for overhead-lit configurations as light has trouble penetrating the bottom plate when lit from beneath. Note: Mounting snap-hole dimensions require precision, so be sure to print with a .4mm nozzle and PLA only - using a raft is crucial, as even slight bed leveling imperfections can cause the statue to wobble during operation, resulting in unpleasant visual noise.
