I enjoyed playing with this puzzle concept, evolving it into a completely filled cube minus three small internal voids. If you want to fill those gaps, simply print three cubes measuring 5.95 mm in size. This assembles with a single 90-degree twist of a part, and figuring out which part to use and the correct order is the main challenge. The rest of the parts slide into place once they're in their proper holes at the right time and orientation. With 180 possible combinations, you'll need to find the one that works. If this task becomes too frustrating, try assembling the pieces without the frame first, then attempt to get them assembled inside the frame the same way. One potential improvement could be adding a threaded hole to each face's center and creating a threaded handle. This would allow the pieces to be drawn out without having to shake the cube endlessly in every rotation to determine which side is free to be the first to slide out for disassembly.
