This adapter enables the use of a standard caulking gun to dispense twin-tube epoxy/adhesive/fill cartridges, just like those used for joining Corian counter-tops. Designed to utilize 3/8" dowels to connect plungers to the gang, the length is determined by cartridge size and fullness. To increase stiffness, print the gang with a high fill percentage (nearly 90%). Initial priming of twizzle-style mix sticks demands significant pressure, causing the gang to flex towards the larger side of the cartridge. Compensate for this by making the dowel for the smaller plunger slightly longer or simply use washers as shims.
