This DIY 3D photography mount accommodates two Sony DSC V1 Digital Cameras for left and right image capturing. Despite being in beta stage, it has been tested and mounted, though slight adjustments are required to incorporate a synchronization mechanism. The current design features a joint and an end cap at the top. Future improvements include adding a top piece with extra hardware and possibly a flash mount. The challenge lies in positioning the cameras back-to-back as closely as possible, achieved through a two-part plate design that attaches to each camera before snapping together. The base, fitting on a standard tripod mount, has space for a nut to secure it with a fastening mechanism.
