Twin fan shroud

Twin fan shroud

After many iterations of fan shrouds here, some complicated that take hours to print and others that require a lifetime cleaning up supports or are unsightly, none seem to work that well. I've noticed that the fan shroud on my Flash and Tarantula are quite efficient, as often you need to turn them down to around 30/50% so I decided to use Tevo's design in the end and design it so it would take around 1.5 hours to print with no cleaning up of supports, simple and easy to fit. This design fits my Tornado, Ender 3's and Anet E10 that I have, so I thought I might share it, apart from on my Prusa MK2/S and MK3/S I am not a big fan and don't bother with bed sensors like the BL touch or inductive probes as I prefer mesh bed levelling and get much better results once you get used to it, so I have not designed in the facility for ABL but the STEP files have been included. Designed in Fusion 360 and printed prototypes on the Prusa MK3/S using some leftover PETG at a layer height of 0.2, 25% infill at 230 degrees, filament eSUN PETG green silk, I will eventually finally print in ABS or ASA but PETG will do fine for now. DISCLAIMER: This 'thing' was purely designed by myself based on the Tevo model and any resemblance to other 'things' is purely coincidental.
