The model's assembly demonstrates rotation in two planes without altering motion direction. Vertical plane rotation is driven by CW motor shaft movement, while the roller-containing frame freely rolls due to a one-way bearing. Conversely, horizontal plane rotation is powered by CCW motor shaft rotation, with rollers again freewheeling thanks to another one-way bearing. The 2X2 module assembly model features a breaking mechanism to prevent unwanted horizontal motion; however, it's not visibly shown in the model.
