Tweezer cap
thingiverse
I use multiple types of tweezer in my electronics work, and the provided caps consistently wear out due to how sharp the tweezers are. The photos show the caps installed on size 3C and 2A tweezers, which happen to be my most commonly used tools - I've successfully adapted these same caps for all of my other tweezers and they fit perfectly every time. I manufactured them using Taulman 645 industrial nylon at a 0.2mm layer height, which provides an incredible amount of strength and tear resistance, so I'm anticipating a long lifespan with minimal replacements needed anytime soon. https://sites.google.com/site/321soldersucker/home/random-ramblings/taluman645test-tweezercaps January 24, 2015: I recently obtained a pair of bent nose tweezers which the standard caps didn't sit properly on, so I created an entirely new cap specifically designed for those tweezers.
