I'm absolutely crazy about my Go Discover - it's an incredible plane that really delivers! It's huge, flies exceptionally well, and is built specifically for FPV. However, its calling card also turns out to be a major weakness: the Go Pro. The bad gears wear out with rough landings, leaving your fpv severely crippled, the GoPro has a tiny battery and an older camera that fails while flying, leaving you blind. The FPV feed is plagued by lag for a plane that travels fast, making takeoff, landing, and quick maneuvers almost impossible. And don't even get me started on the JELLO! So I figured I'd tackle all those issues in one swift move - make room for TVL 600, 700, 800, 1000, or 1100. Whatever you fly with. Here's my solution that I'm sharing with you - please remix it to your liking, use it, abuse it, and tell me about it! Got a different idea? Tell me what I did right or wrong - I don't think there's a huge market for them. It's designed to fully replace the old camera unit except for the arms that come from the fuse. No need to alter anything; just bolt it on with some 2.5-3mm x 10 mm screws and pop in a set of anti-vibration balls (the Arris ones). If you've got the non-base type camera, print the pyramidal mount. Enough about that - I ask you not to sell them. This can be printed without any support raft or special settings because it's not rounded. It can be used facing either way; one way backs up craft, while the other allows some downward looking. You could even use it as a gimbal base upside down, which would be awesome - having a real gimbal. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Airwolf 3D Printer: AW3D XL Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Any Infill: 30% to 50%, depending on how strong Notes: Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew! I've never had any serious issues with my GoDiscover other than this part, and I'm surprised no one beat me to it! Mostly, have fun, and link some videos for me!
