I made these sound deflectors for my Samsung 58" TV, mounting the speakers in the down position so that the sound travels downward towards the stand instead of towards me. However, I found that they now direct the sound towards the front of the TV and right at you. This is a huge improvement as it allows me to hear the TV's audio much clearer without having to crank up the volume.
