TV Remote Battery Cover
thingiverse
Dog chewed up TV remote battery cover. It was always falling off anyway. And, the duct tape across the back of the remote was really annoying me. So, I decided to make a better one. This is for a 2 AAA remote. I've included two files. The only difference is the depth of the spring catch. To print, I flipped it on its side and used support material. I recommend rotating 90 degrees to rest on one of the long straight edges. This will print the spring clasp in the strongest and most resilient way. Okay... After Day 4, I discovered the notch on the clasp was too small to keep the cover on long term. So, I increased the size with Rev 7. It fits in with a comfortable snap, and doesn't pull out unless the spring is pressed.
