Tux Model
thingiverse
During an IRC discussion about intriguing alternatives to a 20mm cube for multimaterial models, someone suggested using the Tux model from Google Warehouse (http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=ae5539bc0cf3c63cee8ad7957b96e8ae&prevstart=0). This model is scaled appropriately and could be utilized to explore support material options (such as the arms and torso) or two-tone printing (the belly and body). If time permits, there's potential to take it even further by splitting the design for multicolor 3D printing.
With this file you will be able to print Tux Model with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Tux Model.
