Learn two ways to create a spring in SolidWorks: one using (Pitch and Lead Spiral) combined with (Extrude/Coaxial), and another solely utilizing (Extrude/Coaxial). I'll explain the option with (Pitch and Lead Spiral) and (Extrude/Coaxial). Step 1: Circle Open a new part. Create a sketch. Select 2D on the Floor plane in the feature tree and create a 2D sketch by clicking on the 2D Sketch icon. Create a circle with a diameter of 100 mm and click Accept. Step 2: Helix Create (Pitch and Lead Spiral). Select the (Constant Pitch) option. Set the spiral pitch to 25 mm, Adjust the number of revolutions to 10, Set the initial angle to 0 degrees, Select the clockwise direction, and click Accept. Step 3: Spiral Create a 2D sketch. Select the Top view and create a sketch. Create another circle. Create a circle somewhere on the Top view, as shown in the image. Connect the new circle sketch to the spiral sketch. Select the middle of the circle, hold down the Control key, and select the spiral sketch. Click Perforate. The circle is now connected to the spiral sketch. Change the diameter of the circle to Ø15 mm by clicking on the dimension button and click Accept. Create (Extrude/Coaxial). Select the Coaxial profile, and select the path Helix/Spiral1 and select Accept. That's it! You've created a spring in SolidWorks.
