The iron sword was first unearthed in 1925 within the 14th Century BC King's Valley tomb of Tutankhamun by archaeologist Howard Carter. The blade of the knife is crafted from meteorite material. The grip of the dagger is fashioned from rock crystal. This replica was created for the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden in Leiden.
