The Golden Funerary Mask of Tutankhamun, a 18th-dynasty ancient Egyptian Pharaoh, was crafted during the reign of Tutankhamun (1332-1323 BC). Discovered by Howard Carter in 1925 within tomb KV62 in the Valley of the Kings, it is now proudly displayed at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Using Maya, ZBrush and Substance Painter, I created this model as part of a personal project I'm actively working on. My goal was to meticulously recreate the mask with utmost fidelity using videos, documentaries and photographs. The rear hieroglyphs are an exact replica of those found on the real mask, excluding the two exterior columns on both sides, which lacked sufficient reference material. I hope you all enjoy this digital representation and find it helps to virtually explore this remarkable historical artifact. Any feedback or comments would be greatly appreciated!
