When I acquired my Anovos First Order TIE pilot helmet, I sought a convenient way to attach my hose for my 501st costume. However, I also wanted to preserve the supplied plug for display purposes, hence I didn't want to glue a magnet to it or anything else. I began searching around and found nothing suitable at all. Therefore, I took the next logical step: downloading Fusion360, finding some beginner tutorials on YouTube, and giving it a try. And here is the result. It works perfectly for me. The hole isn't threaded, but the diameter is tight enough for an M4 screw to thread itself through. The diameter of the magnets is 25mm. Since I'm a 100% beginner at Fusion360, it's what it is. However, I welcome opinions, suggestions, and feedback to help me improve my F360 skills.
