TUSH2 - A simple sliding re-remix
prusaprinters

I just receive the MMU2S (my journey is starting… I know) so I need to adapt my workspace.

I love this sliding remix of the TUSH2 (here) and I used it as my main spool holder for all my print but some detail were bothering me so I corrected them:

3mm nuts are now placed inside the spool, rather than popping outside. So you can pack spools side by side satisfyingly.

3mm nuts were not hold in position properly in the original version, now it is a satisfying very tight fit (use a clamp). Nuts will never turn again.

Now, If you use a 3mm bolt of length 12mm, It will not stick out of the TUSH2, as it was [slightly] the case in the previous version.

The sliding rail length has been increase to 24cm and supported with 3 small screws. This change was important to me: MMU2S = 5 spools. You can print many of them on the prusa bed at once.

Sliding rail tolerance has been increase, should be easier to slide.

I dropped the arms support system, going back to a plain design without any hole.I never used them in my previous versions.

THIS IS A REMIX FROM A THINGIVERSE MODEL: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2853619 I could not reference it properly in the prusaprinter system as it has not been imported here yet.

Edit: 01/04/2022:

It was suggested in the comments/makes to reduce the scale of the Rail to 95% to allow better slide with no resistance. According to what you want, i.e. tight slide or easy slide, you might want to follow that advice. Thanks !
