TUSH Distance Keeper

I design a distance keeper for the TUSH. As the spool unwinds, I sense when it reaches its end and start to become lighter in weight, signaling the TUSH's movement towards the printer and potential issues that may arise. Initially, I created a paper prototype - quite time-consuming, I must admit, taking about two weeks - due to my occasional lack of motivation. Following this initial design, I built the distance keeper. This print is remarkably straightforward, requiring no support material, skirt, brim, or raft. Its lightweight construction makes it easy to handle and maneuver.
