Grab my 1" cane coupler from here:\r\n\r\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3810485\r\n\r\nAlso, check out my wall mount clips for displaying canes and sticks: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3845550\r\n\r\nYou can create an awesome solid oak walking stick for about $7. In addition to the printed topper of your choice, you'll need a 1” oak dowel which costs around $6 at Home Depot and a 1” rubber leg tip – about $4 for 4 of them. The links below are just references so you know what to buy:\r\n\r\n1” Oak Dowel: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Builder-s-Choice-1-in-x-36-in-Oak-Round-Dowel-HDDO136/206184686\r\n\r\n1” Leg Tip: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QD30TE\r\n\r\nThe topper STL file is sized for the 1” dowel if printed at 100%. To use it with a different size stick, just adjust accordingly.\r\n\r\nI print my designs at 20% infill and then paint them before applying a 2-part epoxy resin coat to add depth and strength. You can find this resin on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BM9LHRB\r\n\r\nSimply print the topper, glue it onto the finished dowel (sanded and coated with clear epoxy), using your preferred adhesive – I just use some of my mixed-up 2-part resin for the final coat. You'll end up with an amazing walking stick or collectible item if you're into that like me!
