Worked with my enthusiastic 8-year-old nephew on this fantastic turtle boat project. Together, we conceptualized hollow legs, discovering through experimentation that a tapered design combined with a curved body could displace more water, thereby increasing the weight capacity of our vessel. Our final model required printing at 75% size to accommodate our printer and successfully held up to an impressive 10 pennies. We're optimistic that, when printed to full scale, it will be able to hold 10 nickels or even more. After five prototypes, we added eyes and refined the design, achieving a truly remarkable result. #MakeItFloat
