Worked closely with my 8-year-old nephew on this turtle boat project. We began by exploring the concept of hollow legs, discovering that a taper and curved boat body would significantly increase water displacement, thereby allowing for greater weight capacity. Our final model was printed at 75% scale to accommodate our printer's limitations and successfully held up to 10 pennies. With scaling up to full size, we're confident our design will support an impressive load of 10 nickels or more. We experimented with five different versions before incorporating eyes and finalizing the perfect turtle boat design. #MakeItFloat
