Turtle Beach Z300 Headset clip and mount for IKEA desk

UPDATE: My initial design for the IKEA desk clip backfired spectacularly. It turned out I had grossly overestimated the strength of PLA material. No worries, though - I tweaked the design to make it significantly stronger and easier to print, with excellent results so far. I'm a proud owner of a Turtle Beach Z300 wireless headset, which performs flawlessly, but its tendency to get crushed or misplaced drove me nuts. That's when I got creative and designed a mount that attaches securely to my IKEA desk using a clever clip system. My desk has slots instead of holes, making it an ideal candidate for this custom solution. Stay tuned for some pictures later - the mount snaps perfectly into place and provides a sturdy hook for hanging my headphones. As for those headphones, I must admit I should've made that mount sooner. Unfortunately, my Z300 headset recently broke near the earpiece, and I suspect it was due to design flaws in that area. Online reviews had warned me about this potential weak point, but I didn't listen - now I do. To fix my broken headset, I designed a simple clip that attaches securely to the weak spot and features an extendable tab for added support. Once you snap this clip into place, wrapping it with some black PVC tape will have your headphones good as new. How I came up with this design? Blender + dial caliper - a winning combo!
