This modification builds upon Labala's outstanding Moveo upgrade components. I've enlarged the primary pulley for arm rotation and created a matching base to complement it. This design utilizes an affordable 5.5" (140mm) turntable bearing (I specifically selected this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/1pc-new-5-5-140mm-Home-Hardware-Aluminum-Round-Lazy-Susan-Bearing-Turntable/122799616711?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649), along with 8 M4 trapazoid head bolts and nuts. A 35mm size should work adequately; however, Phillips head bolts might be necessary to ensure proper countersink clearance. Assembly Instructions: 1. You will need the other half of the base, the motor mount, cover, and belt tensioner from Labala's project. 2. Install the ring on the printed base, with the ring clearance extension facing downwards, ensuring the bolts are tightened securely. Consider using lockwashers for added stability. 3. Install the nuts in the pulley ring and secure it to the stock arm base using the original bolts. 4. Attach the turntable slew bearing to the bottom of the pulley. 5. Assemble the remaining base components. You should now have a robot arm that can be bolted to a baseplate or similar structure. Future plans include developing a mount for a 2-stage slip ring assembly (a large outer 12-ring and smaller inner 24-ring combination). I'm currently printing the larger piece, and I'll post pictures once it's completed.
