Sci fi Railgun Turret - Original Design This is a one-of-a-kind creation. No third-party IPs are featured in this 3D model. The model is divided into Base and Turret components, allowing the turret to move up and down while also enabling both the base and turret to rotate around each other. This railgun turret can be installed on a battleship, spaceship, or stationed on the ground as a defense turret, among other scenarios. Marmoset Toolbag 3 scene bundle is included in the package. PBR (Metallic/Roughness) Textures are stored within the Marmoset 3 zip file. Even if you only need OBJ or FBX files, downloading the Marmoset scene bundle will grant access to the textures. FBX and OBJ formats are available for use. This version comes with 16 unique texture variations, allowing some to be mixed and matched (one assigned to the base and another to the turret itself). Dimensions: Approximately 17.7 feet x 32.8 feet x 10.1 feet Built to scale with real-world dimensions. The model uses a 1 unit = 1 centimeter scale ratio. Clean and quad-based topology is employed for optimal performance. Mesh creation prioritizes highest fidelity while maintaining efficiency, making it suitable for various applications. This model is not designed for subdivision due to the absence of unnecessary support loops. However, its clean topology makes it easy to convert into a subd mesh quickly (perfect for use with 8k maps that can be exported from the provided Substance Painter project file). Using the included Substance Painter file, users can easily customize text, signs, and other details. Clean and efficient UVW unwrap is utilized in this model. One texture set (1 UVW) is used to maintain consistency and reduce complexity. 4096 x 4096 - 8 bit PNG texture is provided for optimal display quality. Users are free to downscale the 4k texture set to 2k or lower if needed. Alternatively, they can export 8k maps using the included Substance Painter file.
