Game Ready / Real Time Turret. This zip file contains multiple 3d models in various file types that can be easily imported into almost any game engine or 3D program, such as Blender and Unreal Engine. The design of the model was inspired by Bungie's Halo series, but with a unique twist - all geometry and textures were created from scratch. Display images were rendered using Marmoset Toolbag, while normal maps were carefully baked from a high poly model to ensure perfect lighting. This package includes the following file types in a single zip archive: Max 2014 Maya 2015 .FBX 2013 .OBJ The turret is conveniently separated into two main pieces - top and bottom. The package also includes an extensive set of PBR texture files (Metalness and Specular) suitable for popular game engines such as Unity, Cryengine, and UE4: Turret_Bottom Albedo: 4096x4096 Turret_Bottom Specular: 4096x4096 Turret_Bottom Gloss: 4096x4096 Turret_Bottom Base Color: 4096x4096 Turret_Bottom Metalness: 4096x4096 Turret_Bottom Roughness: 4096x4096 Turret_Bottom Ambient Occlusion: 4096x4096 Turret_Bottom Normal Map with micro details: 4096x4096 Turret_Bottom Normal Map without micro details (clean): 4096x4096 Turret_Bottom UV's: 4096x4096 Turret_Top Albedo: 4096x4096 Turret_Top Specular: 4096x4096 Turret_Top Gloss: 4096x4096 Turret_Top Base Color: 4096x4096 Turret_Top Metalness: 4096x4096 Turret_Top Roughness: 4096x4096 Turret_Top Ambient Occlusion: 4096x4096 Turret_Top Normal Map with micro details: 4096x4096 Turret_Top Normal Map without micro details (clean): 4096x4096 Turret_Top UV's: 4096x4096 Note that the normal maps are -y flipped, which is perfectly fine for DirectX. If you notice them looking inverted in other engines like Unity or UE4, simply adjust the image as needed in an editor like Photoshop by highlighting the green channel and hitting Ctrl+I. Roughness and metalness textures might look too shiny due to a default setting in your engine - easily fix this issue by double-clicking the texture file and disabling the sRGB checkbox. You can also use image editors to combine maps for a better result. Most UVs are flat, but there are a few overlapping sections where necessary for optimal performance. The units used for these models are metric-based. Click on my username for more game-ready assets and stay tuned for more 3D models!
