The Turret 3D printer features multiple nozzles and tools on a rotary hub for increased efficiency. Its design includes a lead screw that linearly moves the arm vertically, with a turret assembly attached to a cantilever branch. This turret can accommodate four arms simultaneously, featuring concentric feeder arrangements with two cups. If an odd number of arms are used, a balancing block is needed for structural balance. The advantages of this 3D printer include its ability to work with both cylindrical and Cartesian coordinates, the circular motion of its nozzle for improved output quality, accelerated printing through multiple nozzles, and simultaneous use of machining tools. An Adaptive Base, inspired by InFORM, is used to keep objects stable, eliminating the need for printed support structures and saving time and materials.
