This is the mechanism used in my video to turn the turntable I'm not completely happy with it yet could use some modifications. specifically the top covers can deform when under pressure i using a soldering iron to Weld the top and bottom pieces together which worked fine I used a metal rod from an old inkjet printer through the parts to strengthen and because it is smooth i don't have to worry about friction heating it up too much
