Turntable for Spraying Miniatures
thingiverse
Here is a turntable setup for spray painting miniatures, designed to hold up to 10 miniatures with diameters of 30mm or less. Miniatures are secured to the turntables using blu tack or equivalent. This setup allows each model to be turned separately, ensuring thorough spraying all around. I've included a PDF file with assembly instructions and set ups for maximum convenience. The table can be configured in three ways: 1. With 10 individual tables of 30mm diameter. 2. With 5 individual tables of 50mm diameter and 5 plugs to protect unused holes. 3. With 10 plugs, creating a flat surface. The main idea is to use the large Main Turn Wheel to rotate the main turntable, bringing each model forward for spraying. Then, smaller Sub Turn Wheels are used to individually rotate each miniature. The assembly can also be angled up to 30 degrees, making it easier to spray hard-to-reach areas beneath overhangs. **Print Settings** * Printer: Cocoon Create * Rafts: No * Supports: Doesn't matter * Resolution: Between 0.1 and 0.2 * Infill: Most models use 20% infill, while some require 100% Note that the only model requiring supports is the 'Sub Turn Wheel'. I've listed these settings in the PDF file of instructions for easy reference.
