Turntable for slowly turning your awesome things! ;)
thingiverse
Hey, here's a small, easy-to-print box with a turntable for a slowly turning geared motor. The outer dimensions are 80mm and the screw holes match the following motor on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/12V-DC-3RPM-High-Torque-Electric-Geared-Box-Motor/172311966209?hash=item281e97f201:g:hfkAAOSwbwJaDw0F or https://www.ebay.de/itm/322564437956?ul_noapp=true. It's designed for a 12V power supply, but I use it with a 4.5V USB adapter and it works just fine. My motor takes about 40 seconds for a 360° rotation, but if you increase the voltage, the speed also increases up to three rounds per minute. Have fun with it! Update 16.03.2018: I tweaked the resting position of the motor at the bottom of the housing. It's now easier to put the motor in its place. The globe in the picture is the World Map from RCLifeOn!
