On my CNC 3018, engraving in a circular motion isn't possible. A simple solution exists: assembling a small attachment that allows round engraving. To activate this feature, connect to the X-axis and adjust the motor's step count from 800 steps to 90 steps. Before purchasing the motor, verify its voltage compatibility with your setup: 5 volts, 12 volts, or 24 volts. The chuck support, sourced from China, is easily installed by pushing it onto the large pinion, provided that the diameter falls within a 15 mm range.
