Used to mount one of these Digital Tyre Depth Gauge Measuring Tools on the rails to check the tread depth of each corner tire. Zero it by pressing it against the bed before mounting. It's best to smooth out the end so it's nice and rounded to avoid scratching the tape you apply to the bed. You should be able to figure out the rest on your own. Only use a light touch when pushing down the ruler, as applying too much pressure will push the bed down and give you an inaccurate reading.
