Turnigy Bonsai Battery Strap Holder

This is a custom-made battery strap holder designed specifically for the Turnigy Bonsai flying wing. The original part was constructed from 2-3mm plywood, but unfortunately, I managed to break it during use. The new design boasts precise dimensions of approximately 55x30mm, making it a perfect fit for the battery recess in my Bonsai model. Its thickness varies between 3mm at the edges and 2mm at the center, where a 1mm recess provides an essential gap for the battery strap to run smoothly. To add extra durability, I made this holder slightly more solid than necessary, as it also plays a crucial role in keeping my Bonsai wings securely attached. These flying machines can withstand quite a beating, and I've learned that through firsthand experience - they're not afraid of a thrashing. For installation, hot glue is the preferred method, and I highly recommend adding the battery strap at the same time as the holder to avoid any difficulties later on. To ensure maximum hold, additional glue was applied around the sides after the initial installation.
