Turnigy 2.2 3s lipo battery tray
thingiverse
I designed a battery tray to keep my Turnigy 3s 2200 lipo in place. Other 2200 3s batteries should fit, and I made it slightly loose to accommodate puffed cells. Additional thin foam pads can be added for extra cushioning. The design was inspired by a water jet powered boat, which needed a secure battery holder. The boat's design can be found on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2872620), and it's an excellent creation! To ensure the battery stays put, I used foam sticky pads to cushion it and a velcro strap to hold it securely in place. Once the hull is complete, I'll attach the tray with glue to determine where the weight should be distributed. Now that the tray is built, my water jet powered boat project is taking shape!
