Turnbuckle Bracket
thingiverse
This design is specifically engineered for a standard 5/16 turnbuckle, designed with stability in mind. The original intention was to provide enhanced support to the Z axis/gantry system, ensuring smooth and precise operation. By installing four strategically placed braces equipped with turn buckles, I achieved a notable reduction in vibrations and ringing during xyz calibration cube testing. To replicate this setup, you will need: 1. Five-sixteenth turnbuckles featuring hook and eye hook ends for each brace 2. Five-sixteenths nuts for secure fastening of each brace 3. Two M5 x 10 mm screws for reinforcing the brackets 4. Two M5 2020 series drop-in T-nuts for added support to the system To complete the installation, thread a five-sixteenth rod to the desired length and proceed with assembly.
