Turnable TPU Extrusion Cam Holder
prusaprinters

Sort of remixing my own tpu-extrusion-cam-holder which in turn was based on slide-in-connectors-for-standard-extrusions. Still trying to get the best use out of the slim usb-cam.

It is for TPU and the base has claws which you can push into the extrusion so you can mount it w/o taking the printer apart first.

'Cause this is meant to go behind the top X-extrusion of my Ender 3 to point the cam to extruder and filament detector from the top. Done in two parts that connect with a pin so the angle is freely adjustable.

Why so? I already have a cam pointed at the print from the back and another mounted at the right end of the x-gantry so the printed is well observable. The third cam could help control that filament transport goes well.

Printed in 20 min., I let Slicer create support from everywhere which turned out to be really easy to remove.

Is it worth it? Not decided yet, it's an experiment.

Following a request: the cam I use is from aliexpress, (unfortunately not an affiliate link). The tube has a diameter of 7,3 mm.
