SCENE INFORMATION The area measured is 50 kilometers by 50 kilometers. This scene uses data from OpenStreetMap (OSM). The scene is prepped specifically for use in 3ds Max and V-Ray Next. All images were rendered with V-Ray Next software. The asset can be used in conjunction with older versions of V-Ray, but results may differ. The preview images displayed are actual render outputs. System units used are centimeters. Real-world scale is applied in this asset. Export formats, including collapsed meshes, are available. If you require additional support, please reach out to our support team directly. DISCLAIMER This asset was optimized for use in 3ds Max with V-Ray software. All materials employed are V-Ray materials. Every light used is a V-Ray light. V-Ray material settings might not translate accurately into export formats. The artist does not endorse using this asset in conjunction with different software or renderers. Usage with disparate software and renderers may yield distinct results. Support for use with varied software and renderers is not provided by the artist. GEOMETRY The stack of objects has been collapsed within the model. All components have been named and organized into layers for easier access. Layers are employed to differentiate buildings, highways, railroad lines, and water features. Please consult the preview images to learn more about the layer structure implemented. Due to import restrictions or missing OSM data, not all houses or buildings have been included. Preview images depict the covered area of this model. Landmarks within the scene are modeled only in their base form, without additional detail; information derived from imported OSM data is used exclusively. This model lacks height data, presenting a flat topology. Details regarding polycount and vertices for the trees: Tree objects display as boxes, which can be seen in object properties. All components have been positioned atop a V-Ray plane at 0, 0, 0 coordinates. Note that the V-Ray plane used here will not be exported as part of the model asset. MATERIALS This scene utilizes V-Ray materials throughout. Material maps for each component are stored within a separate zip-archive for ease of access. The model has not undergone unwrapping; instead, UVW map modifiers have been applied to distribute elements appropriately across the mesh surface. LIGHT SETUP A standard V-Ray sun and sky setup has been employed in this scene. Images were rendered using the Linear Workflow technique by V-Ray. FORMAT This asset is compatible with 3ds Max software versions ranging from 2017 upwards, while backward compatibility is supported for users running up to 3dsmax version 2020. FBX format is also fully supported for exporting data out of the scene.
