This model is built from real data, so the buildings and streets in Turin, Italy are accurately represented. Six building groups can be set up to create variety in the buildings (color materials and/or textures). These groups can be turned off/on as needed. The UVs are mapped with overlapping elements. This 3D model is on a flat surface (all buildings are at floor level) without any elevation data included. The geometry consists of polygonal quads and tris, which makes the model render quickly even without textures. The model is untextured and available for commercial use under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareALike 2.0 license. The building and street data comes from OpenStreetMap at www.openstreetmap.org. In the title, "streets" refers to the areas between the buildings, which are not separate 3D models. This model is part of a larger set that includes other models like XYZ Road Network and Streets, where the streets are actual 3D models. The details for every model can be found in the preview images. You will receive exactly what you see on the preview images when purchasing the model. Please note that even though this model represents reality accurately, some parts of the city might have buildings missing if there is no data available. This may depend on the level of data processing done. If a part of the city is missing, an update with that information will be provided free of charge. It's also possible for buildings to already be present in the model that do not exist yet due to urban planning projects regarding future developments. This same concept applies to terrain 3D models included. These 3D models are designed to work together (they can be copied and pasted into each other's scenes) if they are listed as compatible in their descriptions. However, if you need two separate models from the same city but they're not currently compatible, please let us know and we will look at making it a priority. These 3D models show streets and buildings aligned to a very precise scale (excluding areas with missing data), which makes them suitable for many purposes. They can be used for urban landscapes but are not designed to display high-precision details. The model is not 3D print ready. You will receive the exact model you see in the preview images when purchasing it, including light setup if any. To render the model easily, you can use a free rendering studio available for download or purchase. Compatibility: These models are designed to be used together as shown in the descriptions of the products where this is mentioned. In most cases these products are fully compatible by just copying and pasting the scenes.
