Turin shroud lithophanes
thingiverse
This is a pair of lithophanes from the Turin Shroud, showcasing two distinct views. A close-up of the face has been refined by removing tissue interferences using a Fast Fourier Transformation, resulting in a cleaner image. In contrast, the larger torso image remains unprocessed and raw. Together, these images provide an intimate glimpse into the natural fabric of the shroud and its unique negative-positive image, first discovered in Italy in 1898.
